Eclipse Enzymatic Cleanser + Mask combines gentle exfoliation and hydration through a balanced blend of fruit-based Alpha Hydroxy Acids and supporting botanicals.
The 2024 Beauty Shortlist Award Winner for Best Enzymatic Mask is pH optimized at 5.5 to respect your skin's natural acid mantle. Fruit enzymes derived from bilberry, sugar cane, orange, lemon, and sugar maple provide chemical exfoliation by loosening the bonds between dead skin cells without harsh physical scrubbing.
Aloe vera delivers soothing hydration while green tea and licorice root extracts contribute antioxidant properties. I love the scent - it’s so nice to have a pleasant cleansing experience at the end of the day. I use Boreal to take off spf and makeup and then Eclipse follows. I also like to mix a Boereal or Aurora with some Eclipse in my hand, apply like a mask and then wash off at the end of my shower.
I enjoy Eclipse especially in the warmer months or when I feel like I need a really good clean (ie lots of sunscreen or sweating ). Makes a nice quick mask, too. Slight licorice scent to my nose (no synthetic scents here!) Rinses clean and leaves my skin feeling soft.
Eclipse is a holy grail type product for me all year round. But it's particularly a godsend during the very humid, hot months of Summer where I live. I haven't found another cleanser that can do exactly what Eclipse does. It cleans excess oil and grime, clears my pores without stripping my skin in the least and it somehow leaves my skin calmer than before I used it. Eclipse helps keep my skin calm, clear and happy.
Love this enzymatic cleanser that can also be left on as a ten-minute shower or bath mask. It's an elegant product that's formulated to exfoliate to a new level of soft skin without potentially skin-damaging mechanical exfoliation.
