Helios is a concentrated formula, so one bottle is equivalent to approximately three! Contains sunflower extracts that nourish the scalp with vitamin F, polyphenols, and antioxidants. These extracts fortify the hair's cortex, creating stronger, more resilient hair strands. The gentle, low-foam surfactants cleanse the scalp and hair using micelles, without stripping natural oils, preventing scalp irritation.
The light-yet-effective conditioners, panthenol (provitamin B5), and hydrolyzed oat protein keep hair strong, flexible, and never weighed down. Unlike many volumizing hair products that rough up the hair's cuticle, Helios supports natural texture for long-term hair health.
Helios is designed for fine to medium-fine wavy hair that needs a little extra care for the scalp and extra treatment for dry ends.
Scent & texture:
The product comes in a creamy, yellow goop texture, and a fresh floral scent with a hint of green and spice, a different take on rose and lavender.
How to use:
To use, remember the double S&M method. First, SOAK the scalp and hair with a quarter-sized glob, emulsify in wet hands, and apply evenly onto a soaking wet scalp. Second, SATURATE the scalp and hair, and lightly coat with Helios, making sure to get it all over. Third, MASSAGE the scalp with fingertips (NEVER nails) and work down the hair shaft to deeply condition hair. Let the product sit for 5-10 minutes (or longer) to allow it to do its thing. Finally, MARINATE the hair, rinse thoroughly, and repeat if necessary. It is not a leave-in product and should be followed with Stark's hair serum AirJelly (when available). The product can be used daily, and for infrequent hair washers or those who use heavy styling products, repeat the process if necessary.
It is not a conventional 2-in-1 or co-wash and does not require a follow-up conditioner.
