I tried Helios because my scalp was feeling irritated and itchy as a result of another hair product I was using and scalp changes in general (perimenopause?). I have been using Helios consistently and have noticed that my scalp feels much healthier and my hair is soft even without conditioner. Another amazing Stark product! 🤩

Love the smell and the feel, but my hair looks dry and almost frizzy after use. It's hard for me to marinate for 5-10 mins in the shower, could it be that I'm just not giving it enough time? <3

The holy grail for fine wavy/curly hair. Never stop making this, Jess! I went from using 4 salon quality products (shampoo, conditioner, leave-in, mask) to tame the frizzies to just this! And my hair and scalp (and pockerbook!) have never been healthier.

This is the second time I have gone back to revisit Helios. I was using it a few years back also.

It takes getting used to, as it does not froth and foam at the mouth like a typical shampoo, but it is indeed doing the work!

After suffering some serious neuropathy (causing itching and pain) I decided to try this again for any relief.

I am not sure if it will eliminate my issue because it is nerve related - but it already feels more soothing. And it does leave hair clean and soft!

I finally clued in that I could use a shower cap to "marinate" the product, and that has helped so much!

I took a plunge with this one — my hair is fine, but not wavy, so I wasn't sure how Helios would work for me. But I truly love it. I've been using it as both a solo cleanse and as a full-head conditioner following a clarifying shampoo, alternating my approaches to use to make sure my strands don't get weighed down. My hair is bouncy, hydrated, never tangled (a big issue for me, typically) and air drying SO nicely. The scent is also gorgeous; reminds me of a salon!

This is basically an all in one product for me! It’s given my wavy hair body and fullness while keeping it soft and shiny. And the scent is delightfully complex, earthy, and fresh. Thank you for your work in formulating this Jess!

I love this cleanser as a second cleanse. It’s excellent for a scalp massage and mask in the shower, loosening any dead skin and calming down any inflamed spots. This is a necessary part of my shower routine. I also love transferring a little to a small container for travel when I don’t want to pack both a shampoo & conditioner.

Just bought two extra bottles for my dad and brother in law! Both have super thick hair and as winter approaches a little bit of soothing hydration will be a welcome gift.

I greatly enjoy the fact this product leaves my scalp feeling super comfortable, soothed. I'm still getting used to the steps required and length of time needed to coat the shaft of the hair. That is the only reason I took a star off, as I recognize this is an awsome and unique product.

Helios is such an interesting experience and has revolutionized washing my hair. It feels so counterintuitive to be able to clean your scalp and nourish/condition your hair at the same time but it works better than I could have imagined. It does take some getting used to, just make sure to follow the instructions in the description carefully - you'll likely have to use less product than you think and make sure to rinse really well. My scalp is left clean and my hair so soft, shiny and looks good even when just air dried. It also smells incredible. Don't sleep on Stark's haircare!

I never thought I’d be able to only use a shampoo with my thick, curly, frizz prone hair. I tried washing my hair with this on its own and was so impressed with the results. It really does condition too. My hair felt smooth and moisturized and my curls looked great!! It also felt nice on my scalp and I didn’t have issues as I usually do. The scent is lovely. This is a wonderful product which I would recommend and repurchase!

I have spent my fair share on haircare over the years, with a solid head of dry curly hair which I mostly heat style. This product has been the BEST I have ever tried. It instantly moisturizers and calms my wild hair while cleansing my scalp in the most gentle and pleasant treatment, I have honestly never used anything like it. It even has me doubting the need for conditioner which is WILD considering my hair type. Doesn’t side much as most natural products don’t, I tend to do a double wash for this reason to get a bit more sudsing with the second cleanse. Hair has never been happier. I only wash my hair once a week. It's all that I need. I'm still working out how to use this shampoo/conditioner. The last bottle I figured out but this one is a little different. I love the scent and I know I love how my hair and scalp feel. I just need to figure out how much and how long to leave it on my hair. Excellent product!

Second time I bought Helios. The scent is everything! I normally use diluted baking soda and AC as my hair washing routine but once a week I love getting a wash with Helios. I have fine curly hair and Helios make it gets super soft but not heavy.

Looooooove this stuff! Skincare for your scalp. Leaves my hair so soft with a subtle natural texture. Highly recommend.

I’ve never been able to go so long between hair washes, even when using the brand New Wash.

I have been spending way too much money trying different brands from High End Salon quality to lower cost products. This scalp cleanser allows me to wash my hair 2-3 times a week so my hair doesn’t dry out while maintaining the crown of my head to not become oily from buildup. It applies like conditioner but once you work it in it feels so natural and silky. My hair and scalp have NEVER been so clean!! My hair itself is shiny and renewed!!

Sitting here marinating with the most calming scent ever. I like to get out of the shower and let it sit for 20 mins before rinsing. All itchiness disappears as soon as I apply it and it leaves both a squeaky clean feel and a softness of the hair.

I've used this twice and am already loving it. It is amazing to me how such a small amount does all the work.

I have been using new wash for a couple of years but wanted to try this as I love all of Starks products. I use so much less of this then anything else. My hair is a couple of inches past my shoulders and ridiculously thick and I still only use two dollar sized globs through the whole thing. I like the feel of my hair better with this then new wash and my waves are still showing just as nicely. I don't follow up with anything other then sometimes using a serum while drying.

I honestly can’t believe how excellent this stuff is. I’ve been using a very popular co-wash for years and this is, in my experience, even better. I’m on my second week of only Helios every other day and I don’t want to use anything else. My hair has been so happy and healthy.
All I do is add something for texture and both my air dries and my defused curls/waves have been so good. I have always had high maintenance hair, but Helios understands me. THANK YOU JESS!

This is so great. I had it woth long hair. Now shorter hair, and eother way the product lasts me so long and actually nourishes my scalp and hair. I am so grateful. Smells great, yet understated. I wasn't sure if this would work for me because I'm not the target demographic (I am a pretty infrequent washer and my hair is pretty thick and straight) but I have loved everything I've ever bought from Stark so I wanted to try it. I had to tweak the instructions for me a little bit but now that I have a system I am completely obsessed. Specifically, I found that I had to use more (I would say about twice a quarter sized glob) and I had to sort of distribute it in several places on my scalp before trying to work it in otherwise it would get stuck. It makes my hair perfectly clean, and also fuller and shinier. I'm especially excited to travel with it and cut down on the things I need in my bag!

I have long, fine, straight, grey hair. I used Helios after working in the yard all day in near 90 temps, so my head was sweaty, dirty and my hair itself was dirty from trimming bushes. Helios cleaned my scalp so well, but not in a dried out and itchy manner. My scalp is calm, hair is super soft and that’s saying a lot for grey hair. It was easy to comb my hair after washing. I’m on day 2 hair and don’t smell my scalp. I used so little product. Jess is right when she says the bottle will last 3 times longer than a regular bottle. I like a pared down routine and not using conditioner makes me happy. Conditioner tends to make my neck and upper back break out from the residue it leaves behind. Jess, another amazing product!
