This sunscreen is nice. The scent is innocuous, it absorbs well, and the applicator is easy to use. This is my 2nd bottle and the consistency does seem to vary quite a bit between bottles. It is also a bit drying and slightly itchy for my skin unless I have a very good oil layer underneath. I would never apply it to my face without skincare underneath as I can tell it would dry me out. Not something I reach for every day but I do use it on my face before outdoor adventures.
A great pick by Jess, this sunscreen make the skin glimmer but not too much and is very comfortable. Absolutely ideal for my oily and sensitive skin!
I love this stuff so much. Most mineral sunscreens feel like something on my skin. This one feels weightless, like it’s not even there. It can feel dry by the end of a full day at work in the winter, but a glycerin face spray alleviates the slight tight feeling. Otherwise it goes on silky and has a subtle reflective quality to it that reads as healthy skin. It doesn’t cover, but blurs (acne and PIH). It is beautiful under makeup and also with no makeup.
I decided to try Ava Isa after finishing my usual daily facial sunscreen. This product takes some practice and getting used to. I noticed a bit of pilling if I didn’t shake the bottle well enough before applying. Also, a little goes a very long way. Too much leaves my face feeling slightly oily. The applicator stopped pulling up product after about a month or two of use so now I have to pour it. That being said, I like the soft texture the little bit of brightness it leaves on my face. And the spf provides good sun protection. The light fragrance is nice as well. It is definitely a high quality product. I’m not 100% certain I’ll buy this product again, but it was fun to try something different.
