CITY Brightening Vitamin C Face Oil

I occasionally switch the products I use in rotation up so it had been a while since I’d ordered city. I recently started using it again and am so amazed at the consistency of the new (to me) formulation. It goes on really evenly and feels like it is working against the elements my skin faces. I don’t think I’ll be taking this product out of my rotation anytime soon.

This is my first time ordering City, and I just love it. I've never used a serum instead of a traditional cream, and was pretty skeptical that it (1) wouldn't do a good job, and (2) would look oily on my naturally oily, Italian skin. I was dead wrong on both counts. This oil absorbs quickly and easily, and leaves me with a nice glow that seems to last all day. I use it at night, mixed with Equinox, and in the mornings on its own.

Just started using City and I combine it with Equinox which works out great as the days are getting warmer in So California! I love Jess’s products, they are are clean, of great quality and smell absolutely wonderful!

I love my Stark daytime facial routine of Petrichlor toner, Equinox serum, and City day oil. I have used City regularly for years and it’s an adaptable oil that works well for me in all seasons, winter to summer. It feels protective and nourishing but also not too heavy. I also love the scent. It gives a woodsy, peaceful effect, and evokes forest bathing. My combination 40-something skin loves this. I layer sun protection on top.

Live in the mountains in a small town but find this a great day to remove a layer of product in my day to day routine, goes on smooth and leaves your face feeling hydrated! Been a great seasonal switch from equinox! Love the brand. Could make some routines difficult as it's a thicker feel to get used to.

My first time ordering City and I like it a lot. Just the right texture and a nice switch up for warmer weather. I will be ordering it again.

I use this before makeup and heading out to work. Moist coverage and makeup goes on well after absorption. I sometimes use on my day off as well just as barrier to keep my skin feeling good at home.

Hydrates face while giving you a soft glow. A great daytime serum and you only need to use a very small amount.

I have honestly never been able to use a Vit C product for any length of time, and I have tried many! I’ve always ended up with irritated, sensitive skin and was fully expecting that with this product. To my huge surprise, I have been using City for a month now with zero irritation, absolutely none. It is a lovely texture and colour and not at all greasy, which will make it particularly good in the summer.
This is a really amazing product and I would encourage anyone on the fence to give it a try.

This oil serum feels like such a luxury to use—I look forward to the fresh, bright scent with deep earthy undertones every time I wash my face. It sits beautifully u see my sunscreen and causes no sensitivity or irritation. Love and will order again!

I love City! This is my first Vitamin C, and I absolutely love how it's impacted my skin over my first few weeks of use. I use City as my final skincare step (followed by sunscreen); it locks in moisture while immediately brightening and smoothing. I've noticed my pores appear blurred and clearer with ZERO irritation, which feels like a feat for my historically sensitive skin. I also love the herbaceous scent. Will repurchase many times over :)

Love this oil for the light moisture and also vitamin C that doesn’t sting or cause my face to turn red. Hoping that some Melasma may fade in the coming months since I’m adding vitamin C back into my routine.

Been using stark city oil almost daily for at least 2 years now and it's still the best facial oil I've ever come across. I have dry skin, prone to flaking and hyperpigmentation and city is the only oil I've tried that doesn't leave me too greasy, doesn't clog my pores or cause breakouts and helps lighten dark spots. My skin is a parched plant in the summer heat and this oil is my water. My skin drinks it right up and it leaves me feeling plump and hydrated for the whole day.

I have combination skin and this keeps my skin moisturized and doesn't cause me to break out at all.

I have been using this and Petrichor for last couple of years. I ran out and went without for a few weeks and I could really see and feel the difference. This gives you the clear glow we all crave. LOVE!

City is an excellent oil! I have combination skin and have had times when I break out a lot. My skin has really improved since I started using Stark products. This skin leaves my skin feeling refreshed!

I find all Stark products to be effective, gorgeous, non-irritating, (I have extremely sensitive [annoying] skin) and comparable in quality to many, many high-end mainstream products, but Stark is special; The quality isn't a gimmick or marketing scheme, it's real, and you can see it when you look in the mirror. And feel it. And smell it.

I have been using the CITY Light Oleo Serum for about two weeks and I never want to live without it again. The texture and the way it absorbs is perfect for daytime use. I have been working outside in the woods this summer, in shade and direct sun and 90-degree days with no breeze, and I have never been cognizant of the CITY serum on my face. It's not greasy or heavy, it doesn't get gross when I sweat, and it never feels drying. It also does very well under sunscreen or with other products on top of it. Brilliant work, Jess.

I wear City every day and love how it blends with other products and what it does for my skin. I feel almost naked without it now. Took off a star because I just started using the new formula and I miss the old scent, which seemed gentler and more subtle.

I am hooked on this green magic potion. This is a repurchase for me. Jess reformulated this product and it’s beautiful! I feel it has transformed my skin and I can’t get enough. I see all the other products in my medicine cabinet but still reach over them for City!

This oil is very light and sinks into the skin nicely. The only negative is that I find the scent a little over bearing.

I was hesitant to try an oil for a moisturizer, as I have oily skin but am so happy I did. I love 'City', it is light and makes my skin feel properly hydrated in all seasons.

Over the past months, I have been having difficulty with my skin. A friend suggested I try Stark. I can not say enough about these products. My skin is calm and no longer inflamed. It feels moisturized and not oily. I suggest these products to anyone looking for a holistic approach.

I’ve loved past City formulations, but the oleo serum is my favorite! It’s such a pretty color and applies so nicely. Not sticky and spf goes on without pilling. It’s really lovely!

I was looking to add a little more moisture to my daily skin care regime for the hot dry summer. I already love Everlasting and when I saw Jess mixing in City, I thought why not give it a try. The oil is so moisturizing without feeling heavy. I also like how the fragrance blends for a light fresh scent. I will for sure be adding City to my regular order from Stark.
