Finding a scent I like, that works on me, is usually challenging. Especially with natural fragrances--and I have tried a lot! The texture of the balm itself is smooth and applies easily. A little goes a long way! A wonderful surprise is that the fragrance, when applied to my neck and chest, actually lingers and I wake up to a hint of cardamom. The scent itself is warm and spicy, with earthy and green notes. It's lovely!
